Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 'The Refreshment' by Eduardo Gelli was sold in the Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours auction at Sothebys in Amsterdam in March 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 3,360.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Eduardo Gelli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of A Buttero in June 2020 with an auction result of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 17,896.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit 'The Refreshment' von Eduardo Gelli wurde im März 2007 in der Auktion Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours bei Sothebys in Amsterdam versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 3.360,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eduardo Gelli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait Of A Buttero im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 17.896,56).
