Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Eduardo Gelli could be acquired at Christies in London in June 2007 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Works of Art from the Collection of S.A.R. La Principessa Reale Maria Gabriella di Savoia auction, the work Giullare With Guitar changed hands for GBP 384.00 (€ 569.84) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eduardo Gelli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of A Buttero in June 2020 with an auction result of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 17,896.56).
