In November 2015 Christies in New York held the auction American Art, which included the work Skyscape by O. Louis Guglielmi. The result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 9,467.90) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by O. Louis Guglielmi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Land Of Canaan in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 225,000.00 (€ 201,811.82).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im November 2015 führte Christies in New York die Auktion American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Skyscape von O. Louis Guglielmi zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 9.467,90) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von O. Louis Guglielmi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Land Of Canaan im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 225.000,00 (€ 201.811,82).
