Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Adam by Novello Finotti was auctioned at Bonhams in Paris in June last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,000.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,147.50 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Novello Finotti have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Non ci indurre in May 2008 with an auction result of EUR 10,280.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Adam von Novello Finotti kam im Juni letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.147,50 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Novello Finotti auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Non ci indurre im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 10.280,00.
