Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Hope by Nasratollah Mosleimian was sold in the International Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Dubai in October 2007. The »bidding war« ended at USD 34,600.00 (€ 23,914.85), 15% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nasratollah Mosleimian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait, which sold at auction in October 2008 for USD 62,500.00 (€ 49,282.45).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Hope von Nasratollah Mosleimian wurde im Oktober 2007 in der Auktion International Modern and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 34.600,00 (€ 23.914,85) und damit 15% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Nasratollah Mosleimian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait beobachtet, die im Oktober 2008 für USD 62.500,00 (€ 49.282,45) versteigert wurde.
