In September 2020 Bonhams in Melbourne held the auction Australian Art | Modern to Contemporary, which included the work Nymph, 1916 by Norman Lindsay. The »bidding war« ended at AUD 6,710.00 (€ 5,726.23), 68% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Norman Lindsay achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Springs Innocence in November 2002 with an auction result of AUD 329,000.00 (€ 185,534.53).

Im September 2020 führte Bonhams in Melbourne die Auktion Australian Art | Modern to Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nymph, 1916 von Norman Lindsay zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von AUD 6.710,00 (€ 5.726,23) und damit 68% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Norman Lindsay erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Springs Innocence im November 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 329.000,00 (€ 185.534,53).
