Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2001 Christies in London held the auction BRITISH AND VICTORIAN PAINTINGS, INCLUDING SCOTTISH PICTURES, which included the work A still life of flowers in a silver teapot, a silver milk jug and sugar bowl on a table by Norman Kirkham. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 411.25 (€ 663.59) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Norman Kirkham have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still life with mandolin in March 2002 with an auction result of GBP 2,115.00 (€ 3,457.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2001 führte Christies in London die Auktion BRITISH AND VICTORIAN PAINTINGS, INCLUDING SCOTTISH PICTURES durch, in der auch die Arbeit A still life of flowers in a silver teapot, a silver milk jug and sugar bowl on a table von Norman Kirkham zur Versteigerung kam.
