A top price for Norman Janes
The work Blackfriars by Norman Janes was sold in the TWENTIETH CENTURY BRITISH ART auction at Christies in London in March 2003. It achieved a price of GBP 763.75 (€ 1,106.39), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 27%. With this result, Blackfriars is even the most expensive work of art by Norman Janes that we have observed at auctions so far.
