Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still Life With Pink Roses by Norman Edgar was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Bonhams in London in July 2021. The price achieved of GBP 1,275.00 (€ 1,495.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Norman Edgar have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The annual Glasgow Art Club, Picnic at Blairquhan in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 5,760.00 (€ 8,476.23).
