Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2012 Sothebys in Toronto held the auction Important Canadian Art, which included the work Summer Landscape by Nora Collyer. The price achieved of CAD 9,600.00 (€ 7,429.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CAD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Other works by Nora Collyer have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2011 the work St. Peter Church, St. George'S, Bermuda was auctioned for CAD 11,400.00 (€ 8,307.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2012 führte Sothebys in Toronto die Auktion Important Canadian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Summer Landscape von Nora Collyer zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CAD 9.600,00 (€ 7.429,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CAD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Nora Collyer konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2011 die Arbeit St. Peter Church, St. George'S, Bermuda für CAD 11.400,00 (€ 8.307,86) versteigert.
