A top price for Nora Collyer - as previously expected
In November 2011 Sothebys in Toronto held the auction Important Canadian Art, which included the work St. Peter Church, St. George'S, Bermuda by Nora Collyer. It changed hands for a price of CAD 11,400.00 (€ 8,307.86) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of CAD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, St. Peter Church, St. George'S, Bermuda is the most expensive artwork by Nora Collyer that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im November 2011 führte Sothebys in Toronto die Auktion Important Canadian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit St. Peter Church, St. George'S, Bermuda von Nora Collyer zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von CAD 11.400,00 (€ 8.307,86) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von CAD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist St. Peter Church, St. George'S, Bermuda das teuerste Kunstwerk von Nora Collyer, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
