Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2004 a collector was able to acquire the work A fox surveying it's territory by Noel Hubert Hopking for GBP 59.75 (€ 90.30). This price was achieved in the auction British and Continental Watercolours including Original at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 200.00 – 300.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Noel Hubert Hopking have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in September 2004 by the work Ducks In Flight at GBP 83.65 (€ 121.87).
