Auction result well in line with expectations
The work L'Apothéose D'Hercule by Noël-Nicolas Coypel was sold in the Tableaux, Sculptures et Dessins Anciens et du XIXe siècle auction at Sothebys in Paris in June 2015. It changed hands for a price of EUR 27,500.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Noël-Nicolas Coypel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Venus And Her Companions in January 2015 with an auction result of USD 317,000.00 (€ 280,779.45).

Die Arbeit L'Apothéose D'Hercule von Noël-Nicolas Coypel wurde im Juni 2015 in der Auktion Tableaux, Sculptures et Dessins Anciens et du XIXe siècle bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 27.500,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Noël-Nicolas Coypel erzielen.
