Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Rendrivning by Nils Nilsson Skum was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in February 2010, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 5,000.00 – 6,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 4,000.00 (€ 412.30). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nils Nilsson Skum achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rendrivning in June 2010 with an auction result of SEK 60,000.00 (€ 6,292.41).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Rendrivning von Nils Nilsson Skum im Februar 2010 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 5.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 4.000,00 (€ 412,30) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nils Nilsson Skum erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rendrivning im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 60.000,00 (€ 6.292,41).
