When the work Portrait of Mathilda Lovisa Esberg (1827-1901), age 21. by Nils Jakob Olsson Blommér was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in June last year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 25,000.00 – 30,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 18,000.00 (€ 1,662.62). Als die Arbeit Portrait of Mathilda Lovisa Esberg (1827-1901), age 21. von Nils Jakob Olsson Blommér im Juni letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 25.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 18.000,00 (€ 1.662,62) den Besitzer.
