Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work The Guest. by Nikolay Karlovich Grandkovsky was auctioned at Bukowski in Helsinki in June 2013, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,500.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nikolay Karlovich Grandkovsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Russian Fair in November 2004 with an auction result of GBP 31,070.00 (€ 44,694.03).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit The Guest. von Nikolay Karlovich Grandkovsky im Juni 2013 bei Bukowski in Helsinki versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 800,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nikolay Karlovich Grandkovsky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Russian Fair im November 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 31.070,00 (€ 44.694,03).
