In November 2004 Christies in London held the auction RUSSIAN PICTURES, which included the work Russian Fair by Nikolay Karlovich Grandkovsky. The price achieved of GBP 31,070.00 (€ 44,694.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Russian Fair is the most expensive artwork by Nikolay Karlovich Grandkovsky that we have observed at auctions so far.
