Auction result well in line with expectations
The work View of a Building by Nikolai Petrovich Krymov was sold in the Russian Pictures and Works of Art auction at Christies in London in July 2000. The price achieved of GBP 1,175.00 (€ 1,899.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nikolai Petrovich Krymov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Country House In Tarusa in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 102,500.00 (€ 152,104.84).
