Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Early Spring by Nikolai Petrovich Glushchenko was sold in the Russian Pictures Including Works on Paper by Natalia Goncharova and Mikhail Larionov auction at Sothebys in London in December 2015. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 13,579.52) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nikolai Petrovich Glushchenko have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Composition (Two Nudes) in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 97,500.00 (€ 111,034.31).
