In November 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction Including the Bar-Gera Collection of Soviet Non-Conformist Art, which included the work Design For A Table Top by Nikolai Mikhailovich Suetin. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,598.03), 33% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nikolai Mikhailovich Suetin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Suprematistische Komposition, which sold at auction in December 2017 for EUR 62,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 33 % übertroffen
Im November 2016 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Including the Bar-Gera Collection of Soviet Non-Conformist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Design For A Table Top von Nikolai Mikhailovich Suetin zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 23.598,03) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Nikolai Mikhailovich Suetin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Suprematistische Komposition beobachtet, die im Dezember 2017 für EUR 62.000,00 versteigert wurde.
