Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

In April 2008 Christies in New York held the auction Russian Art, which included the work Sketch For Ladoga Series by Nikolai Konstantinovich Rerikh. Here, the upper estimate of USD 90,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 103,000.00 (€ 66,161.36). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nikolai Konstantinovich Rerikh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tsong-Kha-Pa, From The Series Banners of The East in April 2006 with an auction result of USD 856,000.00 (€ 678,073.51).

Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen

Im April 2008 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sketch For Ladoga Series von Nikolai Konstantinovich Rerikh zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 90.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 103.000,00 (€ 66.161,36) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nikolai Konstantinovich Rerikh erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tsong-Kha-Pa, From The Series Banners of The East im April 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 856.000,00 (€ 678.073,51).
