Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work Portrait of a lady in white, seated, holding a book by Nikolai Alekseevich Kasatkin for GBP 7,200.00 (€ 10,577.71). This price was achieved in the auction RUSSIAN PICTURES at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Nikolai Alekseevich Kasatkin have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in June 2008 by the work Portrait Of An Elegant Lady at GBP 10,000.00 (€ 12,640.34).

Andere Arbeiten von Nikolai Alekseevich Kasatkin wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Juni 2008 die Arbeit Portrait Of An Elegant Lady mit GBP 10.000,00 (€ 12.640,34).
