Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work 'Linda Pin-up' (from Lovely Linda) by Nigel Henderson for USD 630.00 (€ 545.36). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Photographs at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nigel Henderson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lucky Thirteen; Childhood Visit To The Seaside in July 2013 with an auction result of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 12,855.09).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit 'Linda Pin-up' (from Lovely Linda) von Nigel Henderson für USD 630,00 (€ 545,36) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Photographs bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nigel Henderson erzielen.
