In the Modern & Post-War British Art auction, the work Gay Venture; Girlie Lace sold for GBP 8,750.00 (€ 9,998.40) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Nigel Henderson; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Lucky Thirteen; Childhood Visit To The Seaside sold at auction in July 2013 with the realized price of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 12,855.09).
