Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A beduin in the sunlight, presumeably the artist's selfportrait by Niels Simonsen was sold in the Paintings, furniture and varia auction at Bruun Rasmussen in October this year. The price achieved of DKK 13,500.00 (€ 1,808.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as DKK 12,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Niels Simonsen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Turkish sailors on watch in December 2016 with an auction result of GBP 47,500.00 (€ 55,535.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A beduin in the sunlight, presumeably the artist's selfportrait von Niels Simonsen wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von DKK 13.500,00 (€ 1.808,86) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit DKK 12.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Niels Simonsen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Turkish sailors on watch im Dezember 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 47.500,00 (€ 55.535,21).
