This artwork by Niele Toroni achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2015. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction, the work without title sold for EUR 85,500.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 45,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Niele Toroni - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sans Titre - 1974, which sold at auction in June 2019 for EUR 319,800.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 90 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Niele Toroni erzielte im November 2015 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für EUR 85.500,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 45.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Niele Toroni mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sans Titre - 1974 beobachtet, die im Juni 2019 für EUR 319.800,00 versteigert wurde.
