In the OLD MASTER PICTURES auction, the work A coastal inlet with shipping and horsemen near classical ruins changed hands for GBP 2,350.00 (€ 3,797.94) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nicola Viso have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La strage degli innocenti in December 2001 with an auction result of ITL 31,850,000.00 (€ 28,626.00).
