Auction result misses estimated price range
In March this year a collector was able to acquire the work Blooming sunflowers by Nicoline Tuxen for DKK 10,500.00 (€ 1,409.08). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 12,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nicoline Tuxen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work “Voksende Æblegren med modne Æbler”, which sold at auction in April this year for DKK 29,000.00 (€ 3,890.31).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Blooming sunflowers von Nicoline Tuxen für DKK 10.500,00 (€ 1.409,08) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 12.000,00 – 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Nicoline Tuxen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit “Voksende Æblegren med modne Æbler” beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für DKK 29.000,00 (€ 3.890,31) versteigert wurde.
