Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Nicolás Leiva was sold in the Post-War, Contemporary and Latin American Art Online auction at Bonhams in New York in March last year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 2,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 2,550.00 (€ 2,298.75). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nicolás Leiva achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Niñez perturbada in November 2001 with an auction result of USD 30,550.00 (€ 34,103.59).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Nicolás Leiva wurde im März letzten Jahres in der Auktion Post-War, Contemporary and Latin American Art Online bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 2.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 2.550,00 (€ 2.298,75) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nicolás Leiva erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Niñez perturbada im November 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 30.550,00 (€ 34.103,59).
