Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Storia Naturale delle Scimie: Eight Plates by Nicolas Henri Jacob was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2002. Here, the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 3,290.00 (€ 3,774.23). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nicolas Henri Jacob - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Little Girl With Her Doll, Her Brother Holding A Ball, which sold at auction in July 2008 for GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,911.04).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Storia Naturale delle Scimie: Eight Plates von Nicolas Henri Jacob kam im März 2002 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 3.290,00 (€ 3.774,23) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Nicolas Henri Jacob mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Little Girl With Her Doll, Her Brother Holding A Ball beobachtet, die im Juli 2008 für GBP 9.375,00 (€ 11.911,04) versteigert wurde.
