Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Nicolas Bertin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in June 2017. In the Master Paintings auction, the work The Danaids In Hell sold for USD 25,000.00 (€ 21,908.68) - well above the upper estimate of USD 9,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nicolas Bertin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Adam et Ève chassés du jardin d'Eden in December 2019 with an auction result of EUR 107,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nicolas Bertin erzielte im Juni 2017 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Master Paintings wurde die Arbeit The Danaids In Hell für USD 25.000,00 (€ 21.908,68) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 9.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nicolas Bertin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Adam et Ève chassés du jardin d'Eden im Dezember 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 107.500,00.
