Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Women Gathered At A Street Market by Nicolas Bernard Lépicié was sold in the Old Master and British Works on Paper Online auction at Sothebys in London in September 2019. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,410.48). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nicolas Bernard Lépicié achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Louis-Philippe, Duc De Valois, Au Berceau in September 2015 with an auction result of EUR 231,000.00.
