Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2013 Christies in London held the auction Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale, which included the work Portrait Of A Lady, Three-Quarter-Length, In A Black Embroidered Dress, Ruff And Lace Cuffs, Holding A Pair Of Embroidered Gloves by Nicolaes Eliasz. Pickenoy. The price achieved of GBP 40,000.00 (€ 48,113.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nicolaes Eliasz. Pickenoy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of a man in black holding a pair of kid leather gloves; Portrait of a lady in black holding a pair of kid leather and coral silk gloves in January last year with an auction result of USD 1,084,800.00 (€ 967,534.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait Of A Lady, Three-Quarter-Length, In A Black Embroidered Dress, Ruff And Lace Cuffs, Holding A Pair Of Embroidered Gloves von Nicolaes Eliasz. Pickenoy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of a man in black holding a pair of kid leather gloves; Portrait of a lady in black holding a pair of kid leather and coral silk gloves im Januar letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.084.800,00 (€ 967.534,78).
