Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2005 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction 19TH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART, which included the work Unloading the horsedrawn sledge on the ice by Nicolaas Johannes Roosenboom. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 35,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 36,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nicolaas Johannes Roosenboom - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Skaters on the IJ, Amsterdam, which sold at auction in April 2000 for GBP 69,750.00 (€ 119,409.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2005 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion 19TH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Unloading the horsedrawn sledge on the ice von Nicolaas Johannes Roosenboom zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 35.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 36.000,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Nicolaas Johannes Roosenboom mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Skaters on the IJ, Amsterdam beobachtet, die im April 2000 für GBP 69.750,00 (€ 119.409,18) versteigert wurde.
