Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In January 2006 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work Skaters on a frozen river with a koek en zopie by a mansion by Nicolaas Johannes Roosenboom. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 7,200.00 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nicolaas Johannes Roosenboom achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Skaters on the IJ, Amsterdam in April 2000 with an auction result of GBP 69,750.00 (€ 119,409.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Januar 2006 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Skaters on a frozen river with a koek en zopie by a mansion von Nicolaas Johannes Roosenboom zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 7.200,00 und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nicolaas Johannes Roosenboom erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Skaters on the IJ, Amsterdam im April 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 69.750,00 (€ 119.409,18).
