Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Harbour scenes with figures, a pair. by Niclas Lafrensen I was sold in the Important Spring Sale auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 35,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 36,000.00 (€ 3,442.61) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Niclas Lafrensen I have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2018 the work Miniature of Adolf Fredrik, Lovisa Ulrika & Gustav III was auctioned for SEK 65,000.00 (€ 6,394.47).

Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 35.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 36.000,00 (€ 3.442,61) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Niclas Lafrensen I konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2018 die Arbeit Miniature of Adolf Fredrik, Lovisa Ulrika & Gustav III für SEK 65.000,00 (€ 6.394,47) versteigert.
