Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Nick Eggenhofer could be acquired at Bonhams in Los Angeles in February 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The L.D. "Brink" Brinkman Collection Online auction, the work Indian Woman with Travois changed hands for USD 687.50 (€ 604.18) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nick Eggenhofer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work When Buffalo Were Plentiful in March 2010 with an auction result of USD 20,000.00 (€ 14,786.34).
