Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Portrait of an artist at work, said to be David Burliuk; and three companion drawings by Nikolai Ivanovich Vasilieff for USD 187.50 (€ 119.06). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nikolai Ivanovich Vasilieff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life With Gold Basket in February 2008 with an auction result of USD 11,875.00 (€ 7,819.19).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Portrait of an artist at work, said to be David Burliuk; and three companion drawings von Nikolai Ivanovich Vasilieff für USD 187,50 (€ 119,06) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nikolai Ivanovich Vasilieff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life With Gold Basket im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 11.875,00 (€ 7.819,19).
