Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two philosophers holding a scroll by Niccolò Frangipane was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2018. The price achieved of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 16,818.30) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Other works by Niccolò Frangipane have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2013 the work Sacra Famiglia con san Giovannino was auctioned for EUR 25,000.00.
