Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 4,800.00 (€ 7,063.52) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Niccolo d'Ardia Caracciolo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ha'Penny Bridge, which sold at auction in May 2008 for GBP 20,900.00 (€ 26,585.71).
