The work Study Of A Group Of Figures, Two Carrying Crosses by Niccolò Circignani was sold in the Old Master Drawings auction at Sothebys in New York in January 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 5,250.00 (€ 4,863.81) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Niccolò Circignani have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2018 the work The Conversion of Saul was auctioned for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,659.36).
