Colophons by: Wang Dashan (14th-15th Century), Gu Lu (14th – 15th Century), Wang Feng (1319-1388) and Tao Cheng (14th – 15th Century), with a total of five seals Two collector’s seals, including one of Wang Jiqian (1906-2003) Titleslip by Pan Zhenfu, mentioning that the scroll was remounted on gengzi year of the Guangxu period (1900), signed with one seal

Auction result well in line with expectations
In December this year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Rock and Bamboo by Ni Zan. The price achieved of HKD 3,780,000.00 (€ 437,389.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 3,000,000.00 – 5,000,000.00. Other works by Ni Zan have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2017 the work Landscape-A Gift to Ban Yun was auctioned for USD 667,500.00 (€ 623,948.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember diesen Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rock and Bamboo von Ni Zan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 3.780.000,00 (€ 437.389,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 3.000.000,00 – 5.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Ni Zan konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2017 die Arbeit Landscape-A Gift to Ban Yun für USD 667.500,00 (€ 623.948,40) versteigert.
