This artwork by Nguyen Van Ty achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2017. In the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction, the work Rapid Of Cho Bo On The Black River sold for HKD 875,000.00 (€ 103,281.32) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 450,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nguyen Van Ty have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rapid Of Cho Bo On The Black River in April 2021 with an auction result of HKD 5,620,000.00 (€ 601,709.06).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 94 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nguyen Van Ty erzielte im April 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art wurde die Arbeit Rapid Of Cho Bo On The Black River für HKD 875.000,00 (€ 103.281,32) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 450.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nguyen Van Ty auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rapid Of Cho Bo On The Black River im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.620.000,00 (€ 601.709,06).
