Despite a disappointment, a good price for Nguyen Van Trung
In April 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Atmosphere #24 by Nguyen Van Trung for HKD 23,750.00 (€ 2,744.80). This price was achieved in the auction Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Art at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, Atmosphere #24 is the most expensive artwork by Nguyen Van Trung that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Nguyen Van Trung
Im April 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Atmosphere #24 von Nguyen Van Trung für HKD 23.750,00 (€ 2.744,80) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist Atmosphere #24 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Nguyen Van Trung, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
