Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2021 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern Art Online: From Zao Wou-Ki to Le Pho, which included the work Still Life by Nguyen Tien Chung. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 23,940.00 (€ 2,600.50), 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nguyen Tien Chung achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ladies in a Garden in December 2021 with an auction result of HKD 1,250,000.00 (€ 141,588.62).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2021 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern Art Online: From Zao Wou-Ki to Le Pho durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life von Nguyen Tien Chung zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 23.940,00 (€ 2.600,50) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nguyen Tien Chung erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ladies in a Garden im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.250.000,00 (€ 141.588,62).
