It achieved a price of SGD 8,225.00 (€ 5,089.42), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 37%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nguyen Huyen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Nue De Mademoiselle Haï Duong (Miss Haï Duong 'S Nude) , which sold at auction in April 2018 for HKD 150,000.00 (€ 15,827.40).

Die Arbeit Bust of a Tonkinese woman von Nguyen Huyen kam im April 2001 bei Christies in Singapur zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von SGD 8.225,00 (€ 5.089,42) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 37%. Für andere Arbeiten von Nguyen Huyen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Nue De Mademoiselle Haï Duong (Miss Haï Duong 'S Nude) beobachtet, die im April 2018 für HKD 150.000,00 (€ 15.827,40) versteigert wurde.
