Auction result well in line with expectations
The work BOYS by Nguyen Huyen was sold in the Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 125,000.00 (€ 15,232.09) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Nguyen Huyen have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2018 the work Nue De Mademoiselle Haï Duong (Miss Haï Duong 'S Nude) was auctioned for HKD 150,000.00 (€ 15,827.40).

Die Arbeit BOYS von Nguyen Huyen wurde im November 2016 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 15.232,09) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Nguyen Huyen konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2018 die Arbeit Nue De Mademoiselle Haï Duong (Miss Haï Duong 'S Nude) für HKD 150.000,00 (€ 15.827,40) versteigert.
