Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Blue Bottles(Painted In 2016-2017) by Ng Chung was sold in the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in March 2019. The price achieved of HKD 129,800.00 (€ 14,727.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 200,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ng Chung have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bottle NO.707(Painted in 2007) in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,035,000.00 (€ 96,261.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Blue Bottles(Painted In 2016-2017) von Ng Chung wurde im März 2019 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 129.800,00 (€ 14.727,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ng Chung auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bottle NO.707(Painted in 2007) im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.035.000,00 (€ 96.261,72).
