In June 2006 Christies in London held the auction Sporting Art, Wildlife and Dogs, which included the work Winter by Neil Cox. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 780.00 (€ 1,128.65), 30% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Neil Cox - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Woodcock amidst silver birch, which sold at auction in November 2003 for GBP 2,585.00 (€ 3,710.81).

Im Juni 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion Sporting Art, Wildlife and Dogs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Winter von Neil Cox zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 780,00 (€ 1.128,65) und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Neil Cox mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Woodcock amidst silver birch beobachtet, die im November 2003 für GBP 2.585,00 (€ 3.710,81) versteigert wurde.
