In June 2006 Christies in London held the auction Sporting Art, Wildlife and Dogs, which included the work Pheasants, Early Morning by Neil Cox. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,320.00 (€ 1,910.02), 32% above the upper estimate. Other works by Neil Cox have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 2,585.00 (€ 3,710.81) in November 2003 for the work Woodcock amidst silver birch.
